Would it be distastefully pedantic to point out that politics is, classically, a branch of philosophy?

Slightly pedantic, but not distastefully so.
I do find myself wondering how many politicians could briefly explain the difference between Kant’s philosophy and Nietzsche’s. Or Locke vs. Rousseau. Not many, I’d venture. |
