Peace activist, Cindy Sheehan says that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi collaborated with the Bush administration in condoning torture because Pelosi knew about water boarding torture since 2002. “Even before becoming Speaker of the House of Representative, she said that impeachment of Bush is out of question.” She should be impeached for knowing about torture which dehumanize us all, she added.

I wonder if Cynthia McKinney is looking for a running mate? It would be a true moon-bat ticket, that's for sure and highly entertaining.

Sheehan’s about the only person in the country who can make Cynthia McKinney look sane. They could even call it the "Cindy-rella Ticket".

Can House Speakers be impeached? Pelosi can be replaced by the House Democrats or even recalled by her district, but neither of those are impeachment. Maybe I missed something during Government class.

Oh, and let’s not forget that Sheehan is running for Pelosi’s seat.

Impeachment, alas, is a remedy that is restricted to the Executive and Judicial Branches. For the Legislative branch, the congruent remedy is expulsion, which only requires that the members of the house vote to expel a member.

Nice to see that Ms. Sheehan’s ignorance of our constitition doesn’t lessen her desire to take part in the running of the government it created. That’s the kind of can-do spirit that made this country great.

The [Omnibus] bill contains over 8,000 earmarks, bringing the total for 2008 up to over 10,000 earmarks compared to just 2,658 in 2007.

I don’t think this is what the voters had in mind when they went to the polls.
Just what would it have been if the electorate had rejected the Democrats a year ago and stuck to "business as usual" ?
This makes Jack Abramoff look like chump change.
