New Hampshire: We have Polls
Posted by: McQ on Monday, January 07, 2008

With the New Hampshire primaries taking place tomorrow, here are the polls and trends as of today. The first, showing the trend (and the Obama bump) are from the American Research Group, the other two showing a compilation of polls and their averages is from RealClearPolitics.

Now we can analyze these to death but it becomes obvious on the Democratic side is that Obama got a bounce out of Iowa and another after the Saturday debate, mostly because of Hillary Clinton's performance that night (another 2 point loss since then).

On the Republican side, John McCain got a boost coming out of Iowa but lost some steam (4 points) after the NH debate (despite pundits declaring he did well and Romney lost). In my opinion his cheap shots didn't settle well with voters who are just now starting to pay attention to the race.

Although extremely doubtful I would pay anything to see Edwards come in 2nd in NH and give CLinton another 3rd place in her trophy case.

Peole love to watch a trainwreck.

Obama is striking the "vote for me, I’m a nice guy" chord really well.
Something (guy aside) Hillary Clinton is never going to do.

His ’unity’ message seems to be coming through when I hear other people talk about him. Maybe it’s the America rooting for the underdog thing.
