Hillary Clinton Pledged: 877 Superdelegates: 223 Total: 1,100
Notice that Hillary Clinton now leads only because of Superdelegates. In terms of actual delegates selected in primaries or caucuses, Obama leads—barely—by 32 delegates.
As we've mentioned, those superdelegates are a potential problem. Because, despite the fact that they are being counted as part of the general delegate count, they aren't really. They don't have to vote for anyone they don't want to. They simply aren't pledged.
