Apologies to the families? The council should go the the recruiters and apologize to THEM. And did the council repeal Code Pinko’s permission slip to abuse them? The Semper Fi Act should still go through. |

I wonder how popular this will be with the taxpayers of Berkeley? They are up to almost $100,000 in police overtime pay because of the riots their officials encouraged. That alone would be enough to make me vote against these clowns. |

Just curious, how are the recruitment rates at the Bezerkely office going of late? Same? More than usual? It would certainly be interesting (and refreshing) if there was a silent public backlash to all this loud posturing. |

They should apologize to the service members they "support" by saying that they should never have had the option to speak to a recruiter or join the military in the first place.
It’s insulting.
Just like all the anti-recruiting is essentially insulting. It can be nothing but insulting because it infantilizes those who join the military. |

after working with a Maj from berekely I think the city counsel should change their stance from "we don’t want recruiters" to "we ain’t worth recruiting" |
