Nobody will have to pay more than a certain fixed percent of their income because you are eligible for refundable tax-credits to keep your cost down. "HAVE to pay". My skin crawls when I read that.
"Refundable tax credits". My skin crawls when I read that!
Or in short, all this talk makes my skin crawl! |

It also omits the very real truth that cost containment has nothing to do with 100% coverage. You could have cost containment tomorrow without 100% coverage if that were the only goal.
Regarding costs 100% liklihood Billary care won’t be cheaper - tell me Bill/Hill will you guarantee a coverage cost for those of us with pre-existing conditions? How about a healthy family of 4 with no pre-existing conditions that currently doesn’t need insurance will they see a tax (forced removal of money) for coverage they don’t need?
The goal however, is to move from a system that allows people to make their own decisions to one which is based on privilege because healthcare choices that cost money are a privilege that someone else will decide for you so that you don’t use the community resources that they want to reserve for their cronies and those who think like them and aren’t too old or... |

everybody does have to be covered or you will never get control of the cost Kinda like Social Security, eh? The young and healthy will be forced to "contribute" to a system that they won’t use. |

"everybody does have to be covered or you will never get control of the cost"
Wrong. Making everybody pay controls revenue, not cost. Cost is what the scheme pays the providers, not the users. Of course, they do want to control both. |

But everybody does have to be covered or you will never get control of the cost," Clinton told the crowd. Consider that Bill is a moderate Democrat, the Democrat who in fact signed the welfare reform bill. Then consider that this moderate thinks that we control costs by having EVERYONE covered.
Even moderate Democrats don’t grasp basic econ. Scary. |

Sure they can control costs.
1. Make it where you cant sue doctors. Period. Of course the lawyers wont really care for that so that is out of the question.
2. Pay doctors a capped salary of say $50,000 per year. Of course that will wind up drying up folks who want to be doctors or have them go elsewhere where they can make more money.
3. After option 2 is implemented then we will have a severe shortage of doctors (anytime govt controls supply it creates a shortage and demand increases - look at gas rationing in the 70s.) and since the shortage will be so severe the govt will step and and start making folks become doctors (hey it works for China and Russia why not the United Socialist states of America.
4. Since we have people who are forced into becoming doctors then shortages in other career fields will be addressed in the same way.
5. Blackmarket medicine will be rampart for folks who can afford it. Of course they have no legal remedy if they get worse or someone who calls themselves a doctor cuts off the wrong leg so health care for everyone will get worse.
6. Since people dont have to pay for doctor visits, hey go to the doctor for everything. You will have to be compensated by your company for missing work since the govt mandated medicine takes so long.
What a eutopia.

It is not true that Hillary forces anybody to buy insurance that they cannot afford Of course, what they can "afford" will be defined by Hillary I presume.....and there’s the dirty little secret of the thing |

But hey, while the foreclosure proceeds on the house or the bank repossess the car, they’d be covered by health insurance, wouldn’t they? They’ll just mandate the mental health benefit. |
