Well, you can arrest them and toss them in jail, but they still may end up advising a major presidential candidate in 40 years or so [COUGHBill AyersCOUGH]. |

Well, you can arrest them and toss them in jail, Why not Gitmo? Gotta assume that one terrorist org has at least collegial ties with others. Make it a national security thing.
Maybe we can waterboard them.
PS- I’m only 1/2 joking. |

Why not Gitmo? US citizens, probably, and difficult to claim they’re ’enemy’ combatants.
I want them to get their rights, and once we’ve done that THEN we can throw em in the hole and toss away the key. |

How long had these homes been on the market? How is the $2 million home market in Seattle doing these days? |

PS- I’m only 1/2 joking. Sounds too humane. Put them in the general population of a state high security prison. Their fellow inmates will make them beg for Gitmo . . .

Personally, I’d order them to be imprisoned and fed an Atkins-style diet and force them to watch the mining and logging episodes of Modern Marvels on a daily basis. |

How long had these homes been on the market? How is the $2 million home market in Seattle doing these days? What’s that supposed to mean, that the Hogwart’s House Burnin Elves are being framed by unscrupulous developers who couldn’t sell the property? Yeah, that would be the first group I’d try to frame, rather than simple hoodlums and vandals.
I can tell you they’re selling $2,000,000 homes not half a mile from where I live in Texas. You know them rich bastards aren’t affected so much by the economy as us little folk Retief, because Evil GW makes sure they get to keep their money with his wicked tax breaks for the rich.
More rich folk property envy Retief?, you cute little classist. |

I live within spitting distance of the arson. House prices have fallen a bit, but not as dramatically as other parts of the country. Maybe an inside job if the construction company were already in trouble, but otherwise, they’d be best off to wait a bit.
On the other hand, lots of urban Seattlites do say particularly nasty stuff about people who dare to live in this area, thinking we should all be in little crackerjack apartments in Seattle.
What I find particularly curious about this, however, is the timing. There is a trial going on right now for one woman’s role in the E.L.F. arson of the University of Washington’s Urban Horticultural Center back in 2001. Related? I dunno. But it’s sure interesting. |

They’re all indepdenetly owned. The odds of a criminal conspiracy between 6 people with a glaring motive all working out and not unraveling???
And there’s a history in the Northwest of the eco-terrorists burining things. They got one house accross the street from my first house, the UW lab building, a home on one of the local islands, etc...
And this place is nice and easy to access, right off a freeway that leads straight to Seattle. |

How long had these homes been on the market? How is the $2 million home market in Seattle doing these days? Of course. In fact, it was probably the same dude who brought down the twin towers, and framed those Islamic radicals . . . |

Not only did ELF put all those chemicals and CO2 into the air, but because those homes are almost certainly going to be rebuilt, twice the resources are going to be consumed. Come to think of it, more than twice, as the charred remains have to be dug up, trucked away, and dumped. Way to go, ELF.

I wouldn’t send them to Gitmo; the nearest brick wall and a firing squad would do just fine. |

I tell you that I think we have become so PC that calling a bunch of arsonists terrorists is crazy. Even if they are we should just call the arsonist rather to promote their cause. Along the same lines, suicide bombers should just be called murders. Why glorify them. Next we will be calling bank robbers "financially challenged individuals" |
