Congressional Questions about Domestic Spying

 Congress is looking into domestic spying. Sen. Specter, citing "the public’s interests", said that it is “up to Congress to investigate and take corrective action; there might be hearings.”

Finally, difficult questions will have to be asked and answered. Congress is taking its oversight responsibility seriously, and asking the important questions about some of the most serious issues facing America.

Congress is taking its oversight responsibility seriously
Blind Squirrel, nuts, yadda yadda
and asking the important questions about some of the most serious issues facing America.
And doing nothing about them because they are ineffectual morons.

All they are going to do is reveal ways we look for home-field terrorists and the folks they talk to overseas. Nothing will end up changed, and we’ll actually be worse off for it.

Or maybe I’m a cynic. Who knows...
