In the Fox News edit, and presumably in the actual hearing, Waters issues her commie threat right on the heals of Hofmeister saying this:The $5.00 will look like a very low price in the years to come if we are prohibited from finding new reserves, new opportunities to increase supplies. Just how the heck does Miss Maxine think the "government running all of your companies" will hold prices down if supplies cannot be replenished and increased?
She responds to the man as though his acknowledgement of elementary reality shows a lapse in management ability or goodwill or something and the government’s got to sweep in and prevent the damage he wants to do.
Imbecile. She shouldn’t be trusted to open a can of Coke without supervision, much less be allowed to have anything at all to say about the provision of fuel to anyone in America.Putting idiots in charge of the country isn’t a path to success in my estimation.
