We lied, but hey, you were dumb enough to buy it
Posted by: McQ on Friday, May 23, 2008

Democratic Rep. Paul Kanjorski of PA admits the Democrats over-promised on Iraq:

Some will take exception to my characterization in the title of those who "ate it up" - as Kanjorski says at the end - as "dumb."

Well Kanjorski used another phrase in his admission of duplicity - "... anybody who was a good student of Government would know that wasn’t true".

Sometimes ignorance gets you a passel of lying Democrats, doesn't it?

Why didn’t Congressman Kanjorski just call Speaker Pelosi and Senate Leader Reid liars ?

Perhaps Congressman Kanjorski didn’t believe it, but maybe that makes him the fool. Or was he ?
When the Democrats speak with "forked-tongue", it’s really hard to know when to believe them. Never might be best.

The worst of all of this is that this video show that the Democrats used the war for partisan advantage. In the process, as a Harvard study showed, they needlessly endangered US troops by "giving aid and comfort to the enemy" in the form of "hope" that if they waited, the Democrats would give them victory.

This is shameful.

This is similar to what Maxine Waters said about socializing the oil industry. Every once in a while the mask slips off and you see what a real bunch of monsters the donkey party is.

Would that it only applied to the party with the long ears. It applies to the party with the long trunks too.

This event encapsulates why I’ve given up on reforming this country peacefully.
