Anti-war protests: Not much has changed in some places
Posted by: McQ on Tuesday, July 22, 2008

An interesting vid shot at UC Santa Barbara earlier this month. It is a rather revealing look at what constitutes the state of the anti-war movement at this time. It is not a pretty picture. They're uninformed, ignorant of the terms they throw around, and prone to childish acts like spitting on those asking the questions.

Welcome to the "criminal state" where "fascists" somehow allow freedom of speech and none of those involved in this march had any fear whatsoever of repercussions from the "fascists" for saying what they said:

Uh, that’s not the anti-war movement, that is what constitutes modern liberalism.

And my favorite part when I first saw this yesterday - the loadest ignorant guy was obviously visiting from some place else.

And the spitter? Wow - consider everything else about her and her buddies too and you won’t be surprised it happened. I’m surprised the three of them had enough brain cells left between them to walk upright.

THIS is the anti-war crowd? All in all, with one exception, a collection of people who appear to live on the fringe of reality.
Nice dancing and drumming though, that’ll save the planet eventually.

Freely protesting the alleged fascist in which they reside in the hopes of changing the government to real fascism which which they agree.

Judging by the accent of the one guy with the red hat and the sign, and his use of the terms "your military", "your economy", "your bloody administration" and "your stupid country", I wonder why he chose to come to this fascist, stupid country.

because like so many of these other losers, he’s a full time protester.

I’d like to know how they can afford to do it, but I suspect a good percentage of them don’t have real lives with real jobs.

I’m tempted not to go to find out what these people think about whatever they’re protesting, but how they can afford to BE in and at these protests.
A lot of them strike me as escapees from a Ren-faire or a carnival.
