The Audacity of Audacity

Ed Morrisey, after hearing Tim Kaine's remarks on the Russo-Georgian war, thinks he'd be perfect as Obama's running mate.

Said Kaine:
It was a bad crisis for the world. It required tough words but also a smart approach to call on the international community to step in. And I’m very, very happy that the Senator’s request for a ceasefire has been complied with by President Medvedev.
Hubris, thy name Obama.

WAS a bad crisis?. I thought the latest was the Russian tanks are moving farther into Georgia?!?!?!

"And I’m very, very happy that the Senator’s request for a ceasefire has been complied with by President Medvedev."

Guess it goes back to what the definition of complied is...mayhaps another staunch request is in order.

"Georgia’s president said he accepted a cease-fire plan brokered by France" and on special request by the chosen one. Musta left that off somehow.

Yeah, the tanks are still rolling, and which of Obama’s three responses is he crediting with stopping the bloodshed???

I think this is another statement to add to the top 10 most audacious things said by an Obama campaign advisor: Speaking of McCain’s statements on the Georgian conflict.
John McCain shot from the hip, [with a] very aggressive, very belligerent statement …He may or may not have complicated the situation.

The stories about Obama’s exploits are beginning to sound eerily like Kim Jung Il.

Yeah, you just know that Putin is hanging on the words of the American Presidential Candidates - Waitin for the stop request from the Obamessiah or the inflaming comments from Old man McCain.
Putin’s entire foreign policy approach regarding Georgia is based on these two American political figures (neither one of which can do a damned thing to him other than talk, at least until January of next year....wonder how long Georgia can hold out...).

But of course. When we look back on it all we’ll see that, along with the willingness "to work for it, and fight for it, and believe in it," this was a key part of the way that "the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal."

I live in Obama’s neighborhood and know some of the Obama / Ayers crowd. Ayers and Dohrn have babysat the Obama kids personally. The families are personal friends, not just professional acquaintances.

The chairman of the Arkansas Democratic Party was hospitalized in critical condition Wednesday after being shot inside party headquarters in Little Rock, FOX News has confirmed.

Three shots were reportedly fired before a man escaped the area in a blue truck. However, the suspect was shot and apprehended following a 25-mile car chase with police, Little Rock police Lt. Terry Hastings told FOX News.

“There has been an incident at the party and chairman (Bill) Gwatney has been taken to the hospital,” Bruce Sinclair, the director of the state Democratic Party, said without describing the shooting.

Authorities investigated the mysteries surrounding the death of U.S. Senate aide Fred Hutchins on Wednesday, a day after his body was found beside his sport utility vehicle on U.S. 220 near Fincastle.

"We’re just working to let the evidence go wherever it goes," said Botetourt County Sheriff’s Maj. Delbert Dudding. One of his deputies obtained a search warrant to look through the downtown Roanoke apartment of Hutchins, who was 26 and ran U.S. Sen. Jim Webb’s office in Roanoke County.

...and Yea, as long as the Bringer of Light held his arms raised, the armies of the United States triumphed on the battlefield, and when his arms fell, the Americans were routed and fled in great disorder, crying "Why have you abandoned us, Obama?"

And they brought to the Lamb a rock for him to sit upon and his handlers held his arms up high, as He grew weary with the strain of influencing world events with merely His will.

And verily, there was Political Reconciliation in the Cradle of Civilization, and the mighty Bear drew back from his conquests in fear of the Lamb’s wrat...

Never mind.
