It will buzz around the blogosphere and the talking-head channels for a few days, but ultimately I don’t think it will make any difference. (Unless he chooses Hillary.)
Obama is *the one*. He is going to make darn sure that this election is about him and no one else. So except for Hillary, the VP candidate will just be a placeholder.
And what’s up with Biden and Bayh being the favorites? Bayh comes across as another empty suit, and the comedians are already warming up their plagarism jokes for Biden. Is the Dem bench really that thin? |

Yeah, I don’t think the Dem bench is very deep with talent...or fresh talent. The only pick I see that will cause a massive buzz would be Hillary. That said, if he picked her that would be one dysfunctional WH (more dysfunctional than normal). |
