Ask Martin Luther King or WEB DuBois about long time, patience, and pushing of envelopes. I keep saying, be prepared for the long-haul and don’t be discouraged or think that this is going to be fast and easy or even that it should be, that’s why I keep pointing out the Civil Rights Movement as a guide. This isn’t about the LAW or the US Constitution, it’s about ingrained prejudice and entrenched power and those that benefit from it...took MLK all his life to achieve what he did against entrenched perceptions, power, and benefit, don’t expect anything less...

No word yet on his pistol, however... He registered his .22 revolver. That’s the pistol that was center to the actual Heller decision.
He tried to register a 1911 semi auto; that was rejected by DC. Heller is contesting . . .But it shouldn’t be... Yeah, in an ideal world . . . which this ain’t.
Joe is correct. This will be a long, drawn out fight. |
