Still on this "Iraq is a success" kick, McQ? How many times do I have to tell you - the violence is getting ready to pick up, any time now. It’s all just going to blow up in our faces, because the holy principles of post-modernist leftist philosophy require it.
Besides, no matter what so-called "metrics" you bring to bear, Iraq wasn’t handled the way we wise leftists said it should be. Therefore any so-called "positive results" don’t count.
You don’t get a vote on that, nor do the Iraqi people. Only we wise leftists with godlike powers of political science can determine whether a foreign adventure is successful, and of course they never are.
Though none of you dense righties understand the subject, postmodernism has definitely been established to be true, and by its principles, our role in this matter is clear. We get to decide. You don’t. Suck on it.
Thank goodness that when Obama wins, which is definite by the way and I don’t even understand why we’re bothering to hold the election, then we’ll finally see the pullout in disgrace that will prove beyond doubt that Iraq was a mistake all along. You’ll see. |

iraq is far from over. maliki has begun to crack down on the sons of iraq. he refuses to integrate them into the iraqi army. so now you have a all shia army with no sunni’s? and a iraqi government with no sunnis. how is that going to work in the long term? if the iraqi government is a all shia with no representation of the minorities of iraq it will just go back to 2004 violence levels.
for some on the ground details on a IA attack on the sons of iraq check out http://abumuqawama.blogspot.com/2008/08/and-so-it-begins.html
i know everyone here wants to win the war in iraq but blind ideology and drinking the party kool aid does not equal victory. |

And, I did read your link. More recent doesn’t mean correct.
Next time give me a source with a little credibility. Linking to Kos or DU or the blog that you linked to isn’t exactly independent. Here is what I believe in print... it must be true. |

ok heres another link for you to read. apparently everything on the net is some sort of liberal conspiracy out to deceive you. btw i have never linked to DU(dont know what that is) or Kos. despite what your republican talking points tell you its far from over. and the possibility to resume iraqs civil war is very real. |
