Just like the experience thing, this can only serve to remind the voters of Obama’s shortcomings, and Rev. Wright. There is a world of difference between prayer and "God D*mn America."Still nothing from any of the sites that went apesh*t over Jeremiah Wright. ... says Sullivan [edited to conform to QandO’s profanity notice].
That’s because they are not the same thing, Andrew. Not by a longshot. Yet here is a tacit admission that the Rev. Wright situation is a problem for Obama.
We should really invent a term for this sort of tacit admission and get it into the public consciousness. Is there a military term for people who accidentally wound themselves with their own weapon during combat? |

Sullivan has lost all credibility with his attacks on Palin.
Prediction: Scott Erb will come and tell us that Jews For Jesus is a secretly racist organization. Mkultra will say the Jews For Jesus is more anti-Semitic than the Nazis, without ever explaining why converting Jews is worse than systematically killing them.

Jews for Jesus is offensive because it is based on a false premise—that one can remain a faithful Jew (as opposed to a person born in a Jewish family) even though one is a practicing Christian. It’s rather like claiming Marx is a fundamentally libertarian write, or that Erb contributes anything worthwhile to an intellectual discussion.
And the statement that a terrorist attack in Jerusalem was a judgment from God for not believing in Jesus is at least as offensive as anything Wright is claimed to have said—in fact, more offensive than anything in the God D-mn America sermon.
However, since I am a Jew who is not for Jesus, I might be a little biased here. |

They call themselves Jews for Jesus. My Doctor is one of these worshipers. |

"Jews for Jesus" is an evangelical type of Messianic Jew.
I know a family of Messianic Jews; and their belief is that as Jews they are still bound by Mosaic law, whereas Gentile Christians are bound otherwise by Noahide Law; Hence they still keep Kosher, Celebrate Jewish Holidays, etc. Etc. |
