Awesome.
I was about to say too bad the only Democrat who can disagree with someone’s views and remain civil is almost 80.
But I see he switch to the libertarian party. Oh, well. |

Boy, they really tried to steer him, but he wasn’t having any of it.
I could here the frustration and panic in their voices. |

It was pretty funny when the interviewer alluded to McCain’s age because I think he and Gravel are about the same age. Gravel should have kicked her again. |

heheh. That was so sweet. I’m not that familiar with Gravel, but he deserves a lot of credit for speaking so honestly and with fairness and civility. Why can’t the Left handle people disagreeing with them? They are so damn intolerant. |

It’s going all wrong! He’s not repeating the talking points! It’s madness! Madness! When do we go to break! Actually, I’ve been on the radio studio side of this kind of interview, so I have some sympathy for Pacifica guys.
But not much.
But I still get the shakes, sometimes, thinking back to Paul Craig Roberts, telling the Los Angeles basin, live, on my show, that President Clinton was probably complicit in a series of murders in Arkansas. |

ROFLMAO. Literally. That was f’ing hilarious. And hats off to Mike Gravel for being the honest guy that won him so much respect. I don’t agree with his isolationist policies, or maybe other things as well, but you have to give the man credit for sticking to facts as he knows them, regardless of whose ideology they might offend.
"Interview from Hell" was aptly named. But I still get the shakes, sometimes, thinking back to Paul Craig Roberts, telling the Los Angeles basin, live, on my show, that President Clinton was probably complicit in a series of murders in Arkansas. Whatever. We all know that’s true. Or, at least, my sister’s best friend’s boyfriend from sophomore year in college does. And he knows that directly from his cousin’s roommate who worked at a gas station with one of the guys who used to hang around with the first guy who Clinton’s cronies asked to do a hit job. He didn’t do it ’cus the whole thing was called off at the last minute (something about a sick wife?), but he knows for a FACT that he was asked to kill somebody by an acquaintance of an Arkansas trooper assigned to Clinton’s security detail. That’s pretty much solid proof. |

"Senator Gravel, let’s turn to another matter ..." Classic. |

"But I still get the shakes, sometimes, thinking back to Paul Craig Roberts, telling the Los Angeles basin, live, on my show, that President Clinton was probably complicit in a series of murders in Arkansas." "Bill Clinton is cleaning house. I’m a dead man."
That was Luther Parks, on hearing the news about Vince Foster. He was shot dead in the middle of a Little Rock street about two months later. That case has never been solved.
What do you know about any of it, Franks? |

"Senator Gravel, let’s turn to another matter ..." Classic. Yeah, I think the best parts were when he did a pile-driver on them regarding each talking point, and then they scrambled to change the subject...
Every. Single. Time.
I guess they assumed that since he’d had a D next to his name, he’s say what Liberals say. They keep forgetting that there are a number of Democrats who are actually pricipled, not snarling lap-dogs who foam at the mouth upon hearing "Republican" or "Conservative"... |
