It is simple. You just don’t get it. There are ’Two Americas’ as John Edwards so eloquently put it, and Obama was just pointing out that McCain supports the America of the rich and famous whereas Obama supports the America of the poor and working class. |

With all the ads from people telling us ... independent in 10 years,
with the US 70% dependent on foreign oil .. it will be at least 3 or 4 decades to be independent.
With cries for "energy independence" dating back to before Carter, somehow that doesn’t seem very bold or a real plan. It really underscores the necessity of opting for all energy sources. |

Well, let’s see here. Remember Obama’s big convention speech? It was all over the news, 37 million viewers, wall to wall coverage. Remember he called McCain a chickenhawk then? "John McCain likes to say that he’ll follow bin Laden to the Gates of Hell - but he won’t even go to the cave where he lives." What, you missed that? Everyone but the great and good Beldar seems to have.
