People would react more strongly to this governmental moneygrab if they could more readily see money removed from their pockets. Having money confiscated from your paycheck before it gets to you just makes it way too easy for people to become inured to this theft. |

I see he doesn’t figure giving that money to charity is all that patriotic. Despite his huge income, he gives very little indeed. I guess that’s the kind of nonsense you’d expect from someone who has raised taxes every time he had the chance. So has Obama. It’s quite clear, folks that the Democrats as is usual, have given us a very anti-private sector ticket. We’re dealing with people whose sensibilties are drawn directly from Das Kapital. Mark this well, folks, these people think America is great not because of it’s freedoms, but because of it’s government. That’s exactly why this financial meltdown is being blamed not on the government actions that caused it, but on the free enterprise- free market model.

At this point in American history and knowing what we know of this idea and what’s it’s wrought in objective fact — nevermind all the theory that’s never really popular in dealing with this and projecting what it actually means in reality before we get to that reality — every thinking person would take Joe Biden at his words and rack a round into their battle rifle.
No compromise, no discussion.
That’s exactly how summarily this should be dismissed. That man just told you exactly what he’s about, and he should be taken just that seriously.

They won’t insist that the money they take be used for spending required by the Constitution. They spend our money on things that they feel good about. They are so honest and above board about this that they won’t even attach their names to their earmarks.

Dumbing down the majority of the population was the first step, kind of like

Like the Dems did with McCain - putting up part of his quote and then cutting off the rest of what he had to say and questioning his fitness to be President - McCain should have an ad up with Biden saying "taxation is patriotic" and then, in big letters, ask, "Why would the Obama-Biden ticket promise to raise taxes in a slowed economy? Why don’t they care about the American people?"
Let that run night and day for a few days and watch the Dems squirm. |

Here’s a great one I just picked up off Drudge...In Las Vegas, Obama targeted his message to Hispanic and African-American voters. He promised to reform the health care system, create a teacher corps, reform bankruptcy laws and clean up the mortgage business.
"I will crack down on predatory lenders — who all too often target the African-American community, target the Hispanic community — with tough new penalties that treat mortgage fraud like the crime that it is," he said. You got that? The banks are the bad guys... going after and just FORCING the poor, poor, African-Americans to take mortgages they can’t afford... I’m telling you, they were out there FORCING them in to sign these mortgage agreements, and then FORCING them to not take the 72 hour clause. I’m telling you.... |
