McCain "wins" strictly in the sense that he’s able to speak directly to the people and bypass the media filters (or censors, in the case of the LAT)

We’ll see this thing narrow again prior to the end. EVERYTHING is volatile now, including public opinion.

i didn’t realize that the agreed upon rules were written in stone, and that brokaw was moses. should’ve let them have the free-for-all that everybody really wants to see. but ’that one’ would mop the floor with the little white troll and we can’t have that.
