ACORN’s "non-partisan" ad (update)
Posted by: McQ on Thursday, October 30, 2008

I thought ACORN was a "non-partisan" group:
Embattled community organizing group ACORN is taking the offensive with a new ad targeting Sen. John McCain and the Republican Party, accusing the GOP presidential nominee and his party of attempting to intimidate voters.

The new ad, entitled “Not This Time,” is shot in black-and-white and features an African-American man who ages before viewers’ eyes. “It happened to him in 1960, 1965, and again in 2000. He was intimidated so he wouldn’t vote,” an announcer says as a traditional Southern hymn plays. “Tell John McCain: not this time,” the announcer says as the ad ends, and the phone number of McCain’s Capitol Hill Senate office appears on screen.
I guess all the masks are coming off in this one. I wonder whether they enjoy any tax-exempt status because of their supposed "non-partisan" status? I do know, given this ad, they should never receive another single taxpayer dollar.

UPDATE: ACORN on trial in PA.

ACORN, with excellent experience in "direct action" tactics (for example, intimidating bank executives into making bullsh!t loans to people who can’t afford them), would make an effective Obama freicorps, if the presidential steroids are available to it.

For instance, Obama’s clear formative alliance with multiform radicalism (abject racialists, domestic terrorists, ACORN-Alinsky direct action, the far-Left "New Party" membership, the PLO spokesman) that Obama is now fighting off and denying will not cease to be an issue if he were elected. In fact, it would be the basis for a legitimate claim that he was lying about himself and his alliances all along.

Counter-claiming that all demonstrations that he was lying are "racism" will get Obama and his apologists just so far (maybe as far as inauguration). There could well be a need for "direct action" against such accusers, and presidential steroids injected into elements of ACORN and Move-On will make a very nice "direct action" freicorps indeed.

Imagine a Joe the Plumber workover, and worse, on a mass scale. Both Woodrow Wilson and FDR used freicorps tactics, by the way (Cf. Jonah Goldberg’s Liberal Fascism).

Why the nation’s law enforcement community - including the Department of Justice - is not going after ACORN for being a criminal organization is beyond me.

Does that Clown Obama have everyone snookered?
