Joe Klein joins the Matthews contingent of "journalists"
Posted by: McQ on Saturday, November 08, 2008

Speaking of the Obama presser yesterday, Joe Klein gushes:
—No gaffes. Unlike Bill Clinton, who opened the door to the "gays in the military" question in his first press conference, Obama said nothing controversial, so far as I can tell.
"Uh, Mrs. Reagan, uh about that, uh seance crack ..."

Like I said about Chrissy Matthews, if Joe Klein heard that Obama had put out a hit for him, he would say he was honored that a liberal was doing it rather than a conservative.

What is amazing is that no one has asked to see Joe Klein’s tongue as of late. It should be a really dark shade of brown, what with it being lodged up Obama’s backside these past 2 years.

Obama apologized to Nans, so that ends the matter for me. Much bigger fish to fry.

But for shame, media. Srsly.

The Nancy Reagan comment was certainly a gaffe, but it was not controversial, as there appears to be a consensus that it was inadvertantly rude, and he apologized.

Quite a reach here.

Joe Klein:
—No gaffes

The Nancy Reagan comment was certainly a gaffe ...
However, Cap then concludes:
Quite a reach here.
I laugh merrily and roll my eyes.

This is just fun to watch.

LOL, I completely missed that.

I guess I only read the controversy part.

Yeah, there was a gaffe.

Joe Klein is a long-time Staa-shtupper, so it’s no surprise if he becomes for Obama what John Reed was for the Bolsheviks.
