You mistake the intent of the piece.
The media has now gone from being Obama’s cheerleaders and water carriers to Obama "fluff girls".
For those that dont understand the reference a fluff girl is a woman who preps the male porn star before he gets in front of the camera.
Only instead of prepping the sticker they are prepping the stickee.
The media will be talking more and more about the need for higher taxes to indoctrinate the American people so that when Obama raises their taxes noone will be suprised.

Here’s a counterproposal: two dollars reduction in non-defense government spending for every dollar of additional tax revenue. Non defense spending frozen at this level for the remainder of Obama’s term.
The budget, excluding Social Security and Medicare, can be balanced. Our pigs and their pigs don’t want to. I’m not interested in sacrificing more of my money while my government pays millions in farm subsidies to large corporations. These are the same liars who define cuts as less of an increase than asked for.
Now they are talking about stealing people’s 401Ks. They just whitewashed the proposal for mandatory "voluntary" service. I can’t wait to hear what gets proposed after Obama takes office. |

Of course, the Democrat Coongress cranked up the domestic spending, spending $1.35 for each dollar of revenue increase caused by the rate cuts and the resluting growing economy. Had the Democrats actually held to their end of the deal, the deficit would have been gone by 1990.

As usual, retired military hits the nail on the head (and using the term "fluffer" to refer to the MSM in its relationship with us with regard to The Annointed One is priceless). We’re seeing a continuation of the same propaganda campaign that we’ve been subjected to for months. Years, really: everything under Bush was terrible, so terrible that ONLY electing The Annointed One could turn the country around, and he’s going to have to ask us to "sacrifice" to fix things and make our country whole again.
O’ course, neither The Annointed One or any of his stooges will consider the kind of sacrifice suggested by MarkD: the only people who have to sacrifice are the working, tax-paying people in this country who are going to be asked to "sacrifice" ever-larger chunks of their pay to fund the kind of change that The Annointed One and the libs want. |

Hey! Do you mean that you believed Obama when he said all those things? That he would create "millions of green jobs"? That he would "pay for college for everyone who wants to attend"? That he would bring "health care to everyone"?
Just what is wrong with you people? CNN and MSDNC said during the campaign that Obama’s promises were his word, because he has such a lengthy track record of keeping his word, and his extremely long legislative career shows that he can "get things done."
My, oh my, are you people weird. Give the man a break. He will keep all of those promises - like taking our guns away, like shutting down tens of thousands of jobs at coal plants, like making sure all the terrorists at Gitmo go free.
