Did you really think that The Clown™ would keep the lofty promises he made? Funding health care for everyone? Millions of "green jobs"? Get us out of Iraq in 16 months? Finding bin Laden? Bringing "change" to Washington?
Stop joking already. The Clown™ lied to get elected - it is that simple. Now his pathetic supporters on the Left and in the MSM can sit back and get angry that they bought a pig in a poke. |

I know that it is sarcasm. I was being sarcastic myself.
If anyone was under any illusion that Obama, like Clinton before him, would not toss any of his supporters under the bus (where have we heard that about The Clown™ before?), or any of his alleged "campaign promises" under the bus, they are deluding themselves.
That is why I fully expect The Clown™ to come right about sometime after January 20th and say how he now realizes that pulling US troops out of Iraq in 16 months is "unrealistic" and that he wants to take it slow. Sort of like George W. Bush wants to do it.
And that is why during the campaign The Clown™ said he would get rid of the White House Political Office, once run by Karl Rove, but this week quietly named one of his top aides to run that office.
How long will it be before The Clown™ says that those pesky Bush "tax cuts for the wealthy" will not be done away with until they expire in 2011?
So, right there, I posted three "campaign promises" that The Clown™ has broken or will break. And these are the small ones. How about the biggies?
Oh, this will be fun watching The Clown™ make a complete fool of himself. I will relish every moment of it. |
