Is that team not a microcosim of that crumbling, disaster of a city?

I am waiting for some liberalmoron somewhere to say that if only George W. Bush weren’t President, none of this would have happened.
I am just waiting, because somewhere, at some point, liberals like to make complete and utter a$$es of themselves. |

Perhaps we’ll hear about how we need to bail out the Dertoit Lions? |

the patriots handled it with class. they did all they could, and they do know their record was a little bit fluffed up thanks to an easy schedule. it is absurd that the colts have to go on the road. and any system that lets the arizona cardinals continue playing is obviously broken.
i’m rooting for san diego to go all the way. their cheerleaders have the skimpiest outfits. |

I would prefer being the Pats to the Chiefs...2-14. They *did* manage to beat Detroit however. |

oh Pedro, no wonder I don’t like you, you can’t even root for the real under dog in this wonderful Cinderella Story.
from 1-15 to AFC East Champions. The Dolphins beat the jets in a turnaround not seen in a long time, and for the first time since 01 are in the playoffs.
Any Given Sunday indeed, good sir. With Parcells at the Helm, Sporano calling shots and Pennington keeping the team together (and just a little more luck), we might actually be able to take this baby all the way to the Big Times.

senor joel i like my underdogs to have at least a sporting chance and san diego has been looking very strong lately. the dolphins are a nice story, and i do love that wildcat stuff, but they staggered to the finish and the ride ends next weekend. if i’m wrong then your cheerleaders aren’t half bad either. but that’s all hypothetical, i’m never wrong.
you are looking pretty good if you take the long view though. |

and senor james, the first game will be in san diego.
as for playing in pittsburg or nashville the week after, well, global warming baby! i know bruce thinks it doesn’t exist, but let’s see how much skin we’re oogling before wielding final judgement on that hot topic. if i’m not seeing belly buttons i’ll concede the point. |

you forget that Baltimore is sporting the same disaster that took us to 1-15 last year, sir. The Dolphins are not the same team then, nor are they the same team from October. I believe the record speaks for itself. |

If George Bush weren’t President, and instead had honored his true calling, he could have motivated the Lions to at least one victory with his amazing cleavageless cheerleading prowess.
The Lions, and America, would have better for it.

I’m a life long Pats fan and can’t believe their staying home at 11-5. But I can deal with it. What I can NOT deal with is all the Peyton Manning MVP talk. Puh-lease! He was horrid early in the year. How anyone can say he was more ’valuable’ to his team than Pennington was to the ’fins or Cassell was to the Pats is beyond me. |

that’s BS. I challenge anyone to tell me if anyone has been more instrumental and key in their teams progress than Chad Pennington as player or Sparano as Coach. |
