"I’m just getting sick of all this." He referred to his Mac, on which Obama was addressing an ocean of people before the Lincoln monument. "It’s overkill. I’m embarrassed I voted for him."
On the screen Obama says "I look out across your faces, and I see hope ..."
The gay shop owner slaps his forehead and laughs.

The only reason the "left" is in the White House and controlling Congress is because of the utter stupidity and reckless profiteering of the right. The carnage on Wall Street and throughout the economy is only due outright greed that gripped the Republican party. What happened to fiscal responsibility? What happened to division of church and state? What happened to making government small again. Bush grew the federal employment greater than any president since Roosevelt. Bush grew the deficit faster and larger than any president. Is this what the right is proud of?
Besides Obama is not more left than Eisenhower or Bush1. A true left would want to reduce military spending, raise taxes on the rich, expand welfare, provide free healthcare, etc. None of those platforms have ever been a part of the Obama rhetoric.
When you see the likes of Volcker, Rubin and others standing beside Obama, it is the left that has most to fear, not the right.
So relax. Wave your flag. Wear your patriotism on your lapels. The only change we have in front of us is a president who can speak intelligently and who has half a brain. Besides, who would want to manage this mess we are in? Can you really see your sweetheart Sarah Palin in a cabinet meeting? OMG. Now that is scarry.... |

Well, isn’t that part of the dialog over the last few days on different post with seemingly all the leftie commentators. That they all knew that Obama would never keep a single one of his promises? Anyone that suddenly finds it ok to wave the flag again deserves to have his fingers broken and to be cracked over the head with the flagpole before it gets stuffed into their nether regions.
Such fake (and typical of liberals) "patriotism" makes me sick. If you only love the country when your guy is in power, that doesn’t make you an American. It makes you a partisan hack who needs to f**k off. Maybe to Canada, where you losers always whine you’re running away to when things don’t go your way.
Personally I have a very low opinion of Hussein the Lightworker. The most charitable thing I can say about him is he’s WRONG for this country.
