You have to admit, though, that the billboard still looks pretty cool with the vandlism, and the message still works...just in the opposite direction as a sarcastic thanks rather than a gloating one. |

I wonder, would it be freedom of speech for someone to hack your website and damage it beyond repair? So that you were forced to foot the bill of having a new one designed and hosted?
Somehow, I doubt you would be so sanguine if your ox was gored. |

You're probably right, RC, but then it wasn't and I am.
CU obviously knew it was going to see the posters vandalized. That's why they had a team standing by. They expected it. It was a cost of doing what they wanted to do and they anticipated it and reacted to it.
That's what's humorous about all of this. Vandalism was obviously a part of the budget and an anticipated cost of doing business. |
