Critical questions which the one-point plan of Bill Richardson simply ignore. And they’re questions and consequences a competent president ignores only at severe risk to the best interests of the national security of the US - whether the anti-war left likes it or not. McQ, I agree these are critical questions that need to be asked of these candidates. But who or what debate venue is going to have the cajones to ask the Democratic Candidates anything but the softball questions they have been asked to date?
From my observations, MSM has climbed up the Democrat’s *ss so deeply that they will never ask the questions the public deserves answers. If you want hard, tough questions go to the Republican debates - MSM will ensure they will get pummelled with them. |

While Richardson’s position was wildly popular at YearlyKos, it is truly an unthinking "bumper sticker" policy which simply ignores the reality of Iraq and the importance of stability there.
You really have to wonder why the Kossacks are wildly supportive of a position that virtually everyone agrees is harmful. |

Yes, I have watch the debates and I get the biggest laughs watching these so-called Democratic Frontrunners stumbling all over these softball and predictable questions. The next biggest laugh is realizing these people are the best the Dems can bring to the table! What a joke these people are! |

Joe Biden is forcing Democrats to be realistic on Iraq, not the MSM, he has been consistently realistic on Iraq, and his plans can even garner bi-partisan support...“In the CNN/YouTube debate last month, Joe Biden reacted to sloganeering about pulling U.S. troops out of Iraq immediately. “Let’s get something straight,” he said. “It’s time to tell the truth. The truth of the matter is, if we started today, it would take one year - one year - to get 160,000 troops physically out of Iraq, logistically. That’s number one. Number two, you cannot pull out of Iraq unless you have a political solution. I’m the only one that’s offered a political solution.” |
