I actually think Paul is pretty immune to having this hurt his candidacy. He’s not going to win anyway, and he can better say "that’s the problem with American politics today, people want to focus on this kind of meaningless drivel instead of what a candidate says and believes." I think he could turn this into a benefit in a debate, "this is the kind of politics that I uniquely stand against, efforts to smear based on innuendo rather than discussion of the issues. My opponents should be ashamed of themselves for trying to use this as a personal attack, it shows they are bereft of ideas." |

Paul should pull a page out of the Rush Limbaugh playbook and publicly give the white supremecist donations to the NAACP. |

This is percolating up, but slowly. I still say he’s getting a pass from the MSM on this.
Except, that silence? It most of the news organizations pretending Paul doesn’t exist anymore. They’re playing it cool for a while so everyone forgets.
Forgets how much free publicity (and praise) he got for being ’different’ from the other Republicans. For speaking Truth to Power. And for putting much of the liberal establishment in a near orgasmic state when he said ’blowback’.
Once everyone’s sufficiently forgotten who gave him his burst of fame, they’ll spin him as a typical republican, all of whom are closet neo-nazis of course. |
