Per Drudge, the DNC is holding fire on Huckabee feeling he would be an easy mark in the general election. Something about a 'glass jaw'. A close friend of Huckabee's calls him "Hillary Clinton's worst nightmare".

DNC Press Release Attack Summary:

Governor Mitt Romney (R-MA) – 37% (99 press releases)
Mayor Rudy Giuliani (R-NY) – 28% (74)
Senator John McCain (R-AZ) – 24% (64)
Senator Fred Thompson (R-TN) – 8% (20)
Governor Mike Huckabee – 2% (4)

Apparently Jonathan Chait didn't get the DNC memo.

I am no liberal, and would vote for Huckabee in a moment if need be. But to me he is a disaster of a candidate. Why? What are his positions? What is his plan for lowering taxes or keeping the Bush tax cuts? What is his plan for Iraq, or the war on terror? What will he do to counter the Democrat clowns running Congress?

Huckabee, if nominated, will give us a Democrat President. For that reason, he is not the man we should be nominating.
