Though, to be sure, everyone blames the media whenever the country isn’t thinking the way people believe they should. Those who think the economy is just fine blame the media that people are worried. Those who think the war in Iraq is a good thing blame the media that the country overwhelming considers it a mistake. Those who opposed the war when it was popular back in 2003 blamed the media for lack of critical reporting. The media is the convenient receptical of blame. People who think global warming isn’t real blame the media that just about everyone else goes along with the consensus.
Blame the media, blame, blame...left, right, and inbetween, it’s the sport de jour. |

Media bias? Hillary’s been getting largely a free ride from the media....nobody’s been more vilified than us Nobody except anyone who’s ever accused the Clintons of any wrongdoing. It’s the pinnacle of chutzpah for Clinton to make that claim.

...nobody’s been more vilified than us Oh, is that so?
I can think of one sitting President who’s been more vilified, and I can also think of a certain Mormon who’s been vilified.

"... somebody who is at a breathtaking disadvantage in the information coming to the voters..."
Well, at least that part is true. I would expect that in the unfortunate event of her election that we could expect an extension of the McCain-Feingold time restrictions on ads naming candidates. A permanent ban if they could. In their opinion, unlike for libel, truth is not a defense. |

Blame the media, blame, blame... Let’s go to the wayback machine and quote from Erb some more (emphasis mine):Lost in the discussion of the coming elections [2004] is the worsening situation in Iraq, and I find it surprising, and sometimes disheartening, how Americans shift from one issue to the next without really contemplating what’s going on. I don’t think this really is the fault of most Americans though, the media feeds this by how they report. Rarely do we get good background information, especially on foreign affairs issues. If they spent as much time digging into the roots of the Iraq situation as the Kobe Bryant case, we’d have a much better informed public. Our media gives us soap operas rather than important information, it seems. It also seems that Erb has experience in blaming the media.

That’s the nifty thing about taking all sides on all issues; you can always produce a quote and say ’See, I told you so’. |

Blame the media, blame, blame...left, right, and inbetween, it’s the sport de jour. No matter how crass, cynical, and wrong the media is, the real problem remains that most people simply don’t think hard enough, long enough, or deep enough. |

McQ:I wonder if he can still pull off that sort of nonsense again and get away with it. He was getting blowjobs in the Oval Office and he’s now World Citizen One. So, can he get away with blaming Hillary’s campaign attacks on Obama on the media? I should think that not only can he get away with it, the media will accomodate him in his effort to blame them. They’re easy to push around. Would you want to be cornered at some event by a red-faced Bill Clinton, in your face, waving that foot-long finger at you? Reminding you that he’ll still be there even if Hillary gets zotzed?
That’s a "V" for Vendetta that we’re talking about. |

Its hard to tell through the couched talk, double talk and blame Rush Limbaugh but it appears he feels the media isn’t put Obama’s dirt out for the public to see.
On that part of it, I’d have to agree.
As for the rest of it, boo hoo. |
