The Emergence of "McCranky"?

A lot of buzz about this video saying it shows John McCain throwing a bit of a temper tantrum.

Eh.

Maybe its just me but if this is as heated as he gets on the campaign trail with reporters I'll be disappointed:

On the other hand, he has a temper and if he lets it go, he'll turn-off a number of people who don't want some cranky old coot answering that phone at 3am. Temperment, as far as I'm concerned, is important in the nation's chief executive. But this video of him telling a persistent reporter that a particular subject is closed doesn't particularly bother me. In fact, I rather enjoyed it.

Firstoff, I view this as more exasperation than a temper tantrum.

Temperment, as far as I’m concerned, is important in the nation’s chief executive.

That is key.

But this video of him telling a persistent reporter that a particular subject is closed doesn’t particularly bother me.

Big problem were McCain to lose his temper over a topic the electorate finds salient... but not when it is just a self-absorbed snot-nosed reporter shooting for an absurd angle.

I believe the journo asking the Kerry question of McCain is one Elizabeth Bumiller.

I believe Bumiller works for the NYT

I believe Bumiller also dug up some slime on Mccain, re affairs with lobbyists, 3 weeks ago.

I believe that Bumiller should be thrown out of the campaign plane at 35,000 ft. or thrown under the campaign bus at 60 mph whichever comes first.

I’m not convinced that it’s such a bad idea for the Islamofacists to know we have a cranky old man as Commander-in-Chief.
