Frankly, I like it and boy did he do Cindy McCain a favor. But at this blog we've said any number of times that McCain-Feingold is an attack on the Constitution. So the burning Constitution seems appropriate (although given Obama's real position on gun control, I'm not sure there's a whole heck of a lot of difference between the two). Cheney over the mantle isn't going to offend too many on the right so that's a bit of a miss. Pat Robertson might have been a better choice. As to McCain as an old guy - surprise! He is an old guy. In fact one of the funniest lines I've heard lately (and I can't remember where I heard it) was in answer to whether race would hurt Obama or age would hurt McCain. Said the responder, "Well Obama won't be hurt as badly as McCain. Obama's only 50% black, but McCain is 100% old". Heh ... so lighten up lefties. And remember- Horsey's trying to help you feel better. So enjoy. |
