On Further Reflection, Maybe Pace SHOULD relieve Bush.
On Saturday, Martin Lewis at The Huff-N-Puffington Post suggested that Peter Pace should relieve President Bush of command. Captain Ed, Allahpundit, and Dale Franks responded based on the legalities, and they were quite correct. The President is not a member of the military, as Clinton found out when he tried to use the Soldiers and Sailors Relief Act to immunize himself. But is this necessarily a bad idea, just because it is not legally sound?
